A scan indeed: it was taken 23 years ago. You are absolutely right about the sharpness: it was one of my first pics on Woophy and, at that time, I was not doing anything to increase the sharpness. Anyway, the background should have been sharp, and not the trees in the foreground.
is it possible that it is a scan? i very much like the composition and the scenery, yet i find the heavy contrasts in the trees and the lack of sharpness behind the trees a bit strange. it is a good documentary photo without doubt, yet in my opinion lacking some sharpness towards the back. no rating since i am unsure how to rate it to be honest since the "feel" of the picture attracts me very much but the technical part could be improved (in my eyes).
