This place and this exactly scene was very common in my infancy and adolescence, in this amazing gothic stile house, since 1903.

The first thing that came to my mind looking at this picture is the painting by Van Gogh, his bedroom with the chair at the foreground, There is something in this picture that tells a lot, maybe is it all your childhood memories. I love the soft colours, it is very well mastered. I clearly prefer this one to the b&w picture. Very artistic and telling many stories to the eyes.

Sober and serene and yet a very strong image. Both versions are beautiful but I tend to prefer this one.
