Gdansk, Poland
Bastion ŻUBR (Żubr in English means bison) is one if the 14 other similar bastions which surrounded Gdansk in 1622-1636, it is situated in Dolne Miasto. It was made of medevial town waste and is one of the elements of the fortifications built on the five angle plan enhanced by the solid wall.
I explored the district during the festival of the open air theatres.

Well composed impressive view. Good contrast. Well framed. The comparison with a bison is understandable.
