Gdynia, Poland

Since the 2nd of July Gdynia hosted the most prestigious and the biggest SHIPS. They were here till Sunday the 5th and then sailed to St Petersburg.

On the second day of me going to Gdynia...the local authorities asked not to use cars, so we decided to go by the local transport which ran each 15 minutes and was overcrowded... so we drove by car:)
The place was full od people so ... after a coffee we went back to Sopot:) (which was empty:)))

The ships were here for the first time in 1973 and the last time in 2003 - there were over 120 vessels. My last time I saw them was in Turku, but only for a few minutes while getting on the Silja Line Ferry, so on that day I had HUGE fun...
