an old non digital one.
This is laguna verde (attitude about 4300m) the last beautiful spot on my 3 days/2 nights lasting tour from Uyuni to San Pedro de Atacama in Chile.
The main attraction is the changing of the colors at high noon into totally green water.It´s a reaction of the plankton with the lead,cadmium and sulphur in the lake.
Unfortunately i did´nt see this spectacle because I was there with a small group and some of us went on to San Pedro de Atacama and the rest had the long way back to Uyuni.So, there was no time to wait.This foto was taken at about 9 am.
Notice:If you get lost in the Atacama desert don`t drink water from a lake where you can see no flamingos,it`s pousonous!!
