Congratulations Jan! I am not at all surprised yours photo as winner of the month.
Althought a great many people told you already I will say it again, this is a wonderful photo, the soft lighting and the atmosphere is surperb. Althought words are limiting I can only say the composition is graceful.

Incredible how many interesting things are inside this picture, and how magically they are blended togheter! The beautiful unusual colours of the late sunset, fadinfg to deep blue; the strong, sharp perspective lines, enhanced by the repetition of the two mills; the mysterius fog rolling over the canal; the refections. And, over there, a moon crescent... FAV!!
