Who gives Cards-by-Kay artificial sentimentality comments? Could it be me? I resent this remark as being offensive. Comprenne qui pourra!

Ha-ha! flyer & Virginia beat me to it, but then you know it anyway! No Cards-by-Kay artificial sentimentality from me, just sincere best wishes for all the days ahead, sincere admiration for your genuine goodness and sincere thanks for being as near a treasured friend as the www will allow.
And a great statue too!

Your birthday reminds me
What I really want to say
I’m very glad I know you;
I think of you each day. :)
I hope you enjoy your birthday,
All the pleasures it has in store,
And because I appreciate you,
I hope you have many more!

I saw that statue in Dublin. In Dublin fair city, where the girls are so pretty, I set my eyes on Sweet Molly Malone, as she wheeled her wheelbarrow through streets broad and narrow, crying cockles and mussels, alive, alive-o!

Learned it at school ( Irish one), taught it at school for years. So sad....

3. She died of a fever,
And no one could save her,
And that was the end of sweet Molly Malone.
Now her ghost wheels her barrow,
Through streets broad and narrow,
Crying, "Cockles and mussels, alive, alive oh"!

Well pictured statue, of course in Dublin 5*

Molly Malone

Irish Folksong
1. In Dublin's fair city,
Where girls are so pretty,
I first set my eyes on sweet Molly Malone,
As she pushed her wheelbarrow
Through streets broad and narrow,
Crying, "Cockles and mussels, alive, alive oh"!
Chorus:
Alive, alive oh! alive, alive oh!
Crying, "Cockles and mussels, alive, alive oh"!

2. Now she was a fishmonger,
And sure twas no wonder,
For so were her mother and father before,
And they each wheeled their barrow,
Through streets broad and narrow,
Crying, "Cockles and mussels, alive, alive oh"!
Chorus:

3. She died o
