My first thought was: who puts on Whoopy the picture of a dead man? As I read the filosophical description I felt relief because he was just sleeping. Great picture. This man will be famous by this picture.

Mmmm...He is sleeping, and that is good !...There are much people that can´t sleep (some of them, rich) , and that is sad.
I hope good dreams for this man. Good portrait ! 5+

I hope that you will not think my comments critical of you, but pictures like this always make me ask a question : one which I regularly ask myself. It is, as has been said - and I agree - an excellent portrait, well composed, etc., clearly showing a poor man who has probably been marginalised by his society. BUT ( and this is my question ) : is it ethical to display his distress to the world ? [ I am assuming that he was not asked for his permission. ] If, e.g. he had been well dressed and sitting upright on the bench, would his picture have appeared on Woophy ?

You, your wife and your son are good people. Their ideas are right and your son has already the intelligence of discerning the problems.
The picture is above all description! To my fav, a miracle! 5
