This female Trumpeter Swan [Cygnus buccinator] watches from her nest as a duck swims past. Trumpeter swans are the world's largest swans weighing up to 40-lbs with a six to eight-ft wingspan. Eighty percent of the world's Trumpeter Swans live in Alaska.
Very interesting the way the small duck looks at the reflection of his mate!!
