Hi all,
Thank you for your wonderful comments. I especially appreciate the comments about the depth of field. I shot this with a large format 4x5 camera(for my site
www.notesfromtheroad.com). The film was rated 50, and it was extremely dark in this cloud forest jungle, as well as windy. Normally, you don't think of the jungle as being that windy, but this was up on the top of a volcano, and so the weather was harsh. My exposures were extremely long for such windy weather, so, to keep some DOF, I had to open the shutter way up and try to compensate for that by tweaking the camera front and back.
