And F-4 "Phantom" was an outstanding multipurpose aircraft. Sitill in use in Luftwaffe, Greek, Iranian, Japanese, Korean and Turkish Air Forces. About fifty years after it was introduced in USAF.

in my memory..still see them take-off on Soesterberg Airfield....lots of noise...especially with the afterburners turned on
