And did you know why Citroën made all the French presidential cars for more than 50 years?
It was because a French president of the 3rd Repúblique was assassinated by a man who jumped on to the runner-board by the car's door and stayed there while it was moving to shoot him. It was a Renault and they lost the contract immediately.

Thanks for the memories Trudy. Citroën - probably the world's most ugly cars and perhaps the world's most comfortable....that hydraulic system meant that it felt like sailing in a ship at sea more than riding in a car on the road.
