A very calm and curious bird...A sparrow according to Johan Slee. Thanks Johan! Gråsparven in Swedish, a rare bird nowadays in Sweden.
Usually I seldom take pics. of animals, flowers and people´s face...
The last one I believe it´s because I have lived too many years in the Middle East where people believe that you still their souls when you take their pictures...maybe it´s just a taboo, but it´s printed in my mind and I have a hard time aiming my camera at strangers in the street.

Thanks Nico and Jan! In the case of the bird I´m sure I didn´t stole its soul, but with unknown people I have a reservation and I respect their privacy. Makes me feel bad to point and shot with my camera at someone I don´t know well. Miserable faces, painful eyes, homeless, rugs and dirty, poverty, etc... attracts many photographers. I respect their view points but I see those pictures with an aching heart! In a way these poor people have been exploited and exposed to the world and nobody actually cares about them and their lives! I will keep aiming at sunsets and the back of silhouettes! :) No major harm there I believe! :))

and about taking pictures...your so right...its perhaps not taken there soul...but it is taken a piece of privacy...
I have the same problem (not with our Fellow Woophyans or artist) but ordinary people in the street, I try to get them - if needed for the picture - not in a front view.
The only exception is when they see me taken there picture and they don"t mind, or even like it - some people do !

Well I think it is a taboo. I love all your photos are so sharp and really high quality. This photo of the bird is beautiful and sharp, with lots of light. All paths are valid for the photo when the heart desires. Favorite!!!
