The AMS 60 Bernisse, was built in Belgium by analogy with the sister ships built in America. It consists of an oak trunk and dito building. In addition to wood is used only non-magnetic metal such as copper, bronze, aluminium and a special kind of stainless steel. This ship was equipped with acoustical, magnetic and mechanical minesweeping gear.

• BB screw counter-clockwise rotating; SB screw clockwise direction • Fuel storage: 28 ton diesel • power: 2 x 440 P.K. • maximum speed: 12 knots; service speed 10,5 knots.
