Nikolsky Cathedral (XIX century) in the architectural ensemble of the Volokolamsky Kremlin. Nikolsky Cathedral was built in 1853 -1862 years and is dedicated to memory of those killed in the Crimean War. Today, funds are placed in the temple Volokolamsky Historical and Architectural Museum.

Back to architecture :) Fantastic again. A very sharp and wel balanced photo. Very well cropped. Beautiful colour contrast, details and perspective..Interesting information. The snow makes it look very bright (and cold!)
