Yes Marja, this helps to overcome the rain.
re: water; rondom het oude deel van Dordrecht ligt geen dijk, als het water een beetje hoog komt staan de huizen aan de havenkan altijd onder. gelukkig gebeurd dat niet zo vaak meer. Bij ons aan de overkant - Alblasserwaard - zijn de dijken al op Delta hoogte, ruim 1,5m boven het waterniveau van deze week, Net als Capelle liggen wij een paar meter onder de waterlijn, goede dijken, wel zo veilig. Jullie hebben altijd de Algerabrug waterkering, die beschermt Capelle en Nieuwerkerk (wij hebben zelf 5 jaar in Oostgaarde gewoond)
