What makes this spot extraordinary is that this is the Hudson River. For miles along the shoreline and stretching out almost to the channel (you can see a boat there) were these yellow water plants. We were kayaking through them. This is about 3 hours from NYC, in Catskill NY, about two hours from our home. The photo I submitted before this one, shows the geese among these flowers.

An extraordinary view, indeed. Kayaking along such a large bed of water plants must have been a wonderful visual experience. Very appealing nature. Well balanced fifty fifty composition..

Beautiful capture particularly when enlarged. Yes, I was
surprised it was the Hudson, but I'm not that familiar with
