In De Goorn there was a flowerexhibition. Almost everybody who lives there earns his money with something around flowers. They are responsible for the most early flowers from warehouses and so on. On the exhibition they showed two ways of breeding tulips. Perhaps you find it interesting to read about it
Here you see the first way; breeding on sand.

they start growing

you can see here a further stade

almost ready

another way of breeding tulips is in water, as shown in the next few pictures.

Also in water the tulips start growing

a later stade

volle bak. the box is very full by now, they have grown good.

this is almost ready

the result, ready for the shop

Some tulips breed in water.

There is a contest for the best breed, here you see the winner of this year

The oldest children of the primaryschools had a bulb to take care of, they raised it at home and then brought them to the exposition. It is a tradition every year, the children learn very young about the work in there part of the land .

some results in close-up, there were a lot of different schools who had a tribute to the contest

The winner of the childrens breed

Would you like to buy some.
