Born in England just 2 months before WWII, I served an apprenticeship as an engineers patternmaker between age 16 to 21.
Married and migrated to New Zealand in 1965 (aged 26) and have been delighted at both decisions for more than 44 years.
Twin daughters in 1967, and four wonderful grandchildren aged between 8 and 23, all living close to us.
Tramping or hiking or backpacking - whichever you understand - is our main leisure activity, and the photography is only to record the magnificent scenery we enjoy every week.
I just carry a tiny 'point and shoot' camera on my pack harness, so that I can just click on anything which takes my attention.
