Photography course

I started my photography course 2 weeks ago... We're 4 people in total, we have had 2 classes and 1 day outdoor experience in the nature.

In the first class... it is sort of repetition for me about the standard stuff: aperture, shutter time, composition, etc. It doe'sn't mean that I understand everything by heart but I know it and try to go to a deeper level.

But on the second class, we learned about white balance (not so exciting), light meter & the correction to the light... The last two are really interesting in a certain circumstances...

I have at this moment... 2 different filter, UV filter & polarisation filter. The last I bought because sometimes I made a tremendous bright picture... and I heard from one wokrshop that you can use this kind of filter... It is true... it takes away of your warm light color & make the picture more vivid...

Is there anyone experience with this kind of filer/ situation?
