We rode from narrow gage steam train from Durango to Silverton.
The day prior to our ride, we strolled through Durango - visiting the shops and museums.
It was warm sunny day that started out very cool on this autumn morning of our train ride. But, when the sun rose high enough to warm the day, it was an enjoyable ride. The scenery was beautiful and the ride was excellent. We had lunch in Silverton and checked out this mining town before boarding the train for our return trip to Durango.
Many of the photos were taken from the moving train including all of the train photos.
