Woophian meeting in Italy 2013 proposal

Dear Woophian friends,
following your opinions on our previous proposal, we think that could be better to postpone the idea of a Woophian meeting in Italy to year 2013.
In this manner, all Woophians could attend to the Madrid meeting in 2012 and to the italian meeting in 2013; me and Perfidus will have more time to better organize the meeting.
Someone asked why the proposal is for a meeting in July. The answer is that if we would like to photograph the famous Castelluccio's flowering we should stay in that place in the first half of July.
Please let us know if you are interested to partecipate.
This is the idea:
me and Perfidus would like to launch the idea to have a photograph meeting in Italy in 2013.
We think to propose not a meeting in a notoriuous place like Rome, Florence or Venice, but to discover other not famous places that could be interesting from a photographic point of view.
If the idea would be accepted by various friends we could verify the possibility to organize a trip by bus to move people in a complete several days tour .
The proposal is for a meeting in Marche, Umbria and Abruzzo italian regions. The best period of the year should be the first half of July.
Some place for shooting could be Castelluccio (the famous flowering), Sibillini Mountains Park (it could be possible to have walking refuge trip to photograph the sunrise from the top of the mountain, Pilato's lakes, Ambro's Madonna, Ambro's gorge) , Norcia, Ascoli Piceno, Laga and Gran Sasso Mountains Park, Scanno (famous for Mario Giacomelli's masterpieces), Rocca Calascio, L’Aquila, Portonovo, Sirolo, Numana in the Conero Mountain Park (sunrise shooting on the seaside), Marche's hills, Arcevia castles, Frasassi Caves, etc.

    The places are wonderful and it would be lovely to go there and take great pictures, but unfortunately I cannot confirm if I can join so long in advance ... but I will keep it mind though...

    Sounds great. Italy is always a country to review. So... Why not? The problem is about teachers... they have work in these days so... not easy. But a good idea. I'm half in... Guidaa too.

    I completely support idea of a meeting in solar Italy. I can't refuse, if places for a photo are really unusual. In Italy such places much. I wish good luck!

    I am comfortable making the Madrid meeting the "Official" Woophy gathering for 2012 and this meeting the "Official" meeting for 2013.

    But what exactly does "Official" mean??

    It means representatives from Woophy would attend and you would be able to talk directly to us about Woophy. Also, I'd really like to support both events with customized Woophy gear (like maybe a Woophy camera bag) that specifically commemorates these events and would be given out to everyone who attends.

    I'd really like to grow this so we could maybe have an "Official" meeting every year in a new country. Maybe 2014 could take place in San Francisco??

    Very interesting suggestion! We'll be very happy to join [only two reasons would put us apart: if the date doesn't match with our in-between two periods of exams (normaly this free time stays from about the 3rd july to the 13th) and/or the crisis will be even much harder in 2013 than today]. I've seen the google maps and enjoyed those locations;). I wonder if you both don't look forward to be in Madrid next march/april and make your own campaign for Italy 2013!;););)
