Strescio Valley - Marche region - Italy

I live in one of three ridges that defines the "vallecula Strescio" in the town of Osimo, in the Province of Ancona in the Marche Region. The major landowner in the area of the vallecula asked the Province to install a biomass plant to generate electricity by burning biogas produced from digestion of pigs manure of and poultry manure (Pollina) mixed with vegetables. In the same placehas asked the Region to install a industrial farming of chickens classified as "unhealthyactivities of the first class. " All this would achieve in an area of historical and environmental agricultural landscape of where "due to the high value of the landscape and environmental character and condition of balance between human factors and natural environment, should be implemented a policy of overriding conservation and additional buoyancy current qualifying,...". We hope that the Marche Region, the Province of Ancona and the City of Osimo not allow this environmental destruction!
