Photography & Poetry: Series 1

Posted by Thomas Brandenburg on February 12th, 2012 | 3 comments | 78 views
At the beginning of every year some of us evaluate
ourselves and say we will make changes, or we might
focus our attention on continuing to do the good habits
we might have already developed.

I happen to be one of these people who has this
tendency to do new year resolutions. This year for example,
I thought I will continue to do more creative writing. This was
an interest I have been nurturing for several years.
But I often thought of it as a separate creative activity from
my interest in photography. Now I have the idea that it
would be interesting to present them together. So this is
the first in a series I will share.

Photography & Poetry: Series 1
We Have Been Away

We have been away
from ourselves
for a very long time

for the listener
who is listening
to the cry on a far hill

is listening to
everything in himself
calling

behold the dream that is
the dream, and
the dream that is.

I think you made a good work, although my English is perhaps not good enough to explore deeper layers. Thank you for sharing!
