don't...

just so that my fellow-woophians know where i'm standing, the following things i would like you to to consider when you feel like leaving a comment under my photos.
1) don't comment on pictures that i don't want commenting on. when i write "NOT MINE!!! FOR FORUM!!!! DO NOT COMMENT OR RATE!!!", i mean it. otherwise i would have to asume that you cannot read or are a rude attention hogger.
2) don't resort to flattery. it won't work. comments like "wonderful-5" are about as welcome as an enema. you must have a reason why you like a picture. tell my why. if you can't, then you appear to have no honest opinion.
3) don't come here and wish me a nice morning, evening, day, weekend, year, life. because that's telling me more about *you* ("i'm nice to you -- now you have to be nice to me!") than the quality of my pictures. it will only make me feel less inclined to even want to look at your gallery.
three simple principles, really. if you feel like you cannot refrain from any one of the three, then don't be bothered commenting on my pictures at all. i'm here for photography, not facebooking.
and what can you expect in return? simple: i will take you and your pictures seriously and will return the courtesy of honest commentary.
thank you.

i had considered uploading your picture to my external, "real" blog, but then for some reason reconsidered and uploaded it on woophy instead. i thought, the disclaimer and "DO NOT RATE! DO NOT COMMENT!" was sufficient. alas, i had not reckonned with users who can't be bothered reading descriptions. but we live to learn from mistakes. :)

About point 1: I think a good way to avoid this is don't using your woophy portfolio for forum pictures. Some members have a second profile just for this pictures. Another way is posting this picture in a different website and link it from there in the forum (I use tinypic.com for this purposes).
Btw, very nice5+++ blog!!! Good morning and happy weekend my dear frie.... Oooooops, sorry XD
