I like the pictures showing things from different angles or damaged things and rusty things. I normaly dont like color in black and white but the tower i just love it so you see i change my opinion already .

Hi Dimitri,
For me the real Nivad pictures are the #9 to 20. They show your way of looking. In my opinion you're always trying for a somewhat unusual angle, very often this results in a surprising picture, like #11 and #18. Your first group, except #10 doesn't do much for me, they lack the part that gets me interested. Furthermore I would suggest you should focus a bit more on some technicaal parts, like cropping, to improve your pictures. I agree with Geert on the decay pictures. They give the best results when you try to get the details as clear and sharp as possible. But, keep exprimenting and keep working in your own style.

hello Dimitri,
to begin with your best photo: number 8 at Rock Herk; these eyes and arm; good! and the diagonal (which would be destroyed by cropping the guy at the left; so leave it...). your photo number 1 i haven't seen before; it's rather a-typical for your work; though it's not technically perfect, i like it. it's an inviting shot, showing a nice part of Mother Earth.
number 7: Neerharen's church; i like the way you've taken/composed this photo with a main role for the tree; and you are not afraid to lay yourself down before taking a photo (train in As, number 16, for instance); that's good.
and number 10 (flat and bikes in Brussels) is also taken from a nice low point of view (though i'd like to see a completely b&w-version).
i share your interest in decay, industrial heritage, old coalmines etc.; but i must admit that i don't like your photo's on these subjects that much; Eisden's coalmine tower (numner 14) is having a too great surface of black; a few steps behind or forwars or to the left or right might give a better result?
detail-photo's like 12 and 15 can be nice in a series; they are rather dull now.
the statue in number 4 is unsharp; number 9 is not good (technically not good, but in my eyes it's not a rock-photo too); and it's very good to pay attention to your village being chosen as most beautiful one of Flandres; but the minister Bourgeois-photo is not good ( a dull man with a half face).
concluding: you really are someone who is looking for a different photo; not the usual stuff; that's what i like; but the result often is technically bad or a bit dull; anyway not that surprising; and the photo's in your selection i like the best, are the more or less 'usual stuff'-photo's.
anyway: you have the eye and the spirit; use both! and take more photo's, watch them, try things out, throw away (or don't throw away)...
