After my father passed away 20 years ago, I gained a much more serious attitude towards the pictures I took. I realized that a picture preserves a moment in time, to be savored with the passing years as a thing that may no longer exist except as a photograph.
How much do you love that which you see, that which you choose to capture with your camera?
I feel it behooves me to convey through my lens as best I can the emotions that I feel as I snap the picture. If my pictures move you in some way, then I have accomplished my task.
I have three wonderful children who put up with my antics wherever we travel.
