Testing Hama close-up +10

Posted by Koen Van de moortel on August 6th, 2010 | 0 comments | 276 views
Just did some testing with a Hama +10 dioptry close-up lens, which fits like a filter on any lens.
It seems to work fine on my Canon 18-55mm lens (best when it's set to around 50), but not at all with the 55-250mm lens.
Advantage: good enlargement; disadvantage: you have to come quite close (ca. 6-7cm), and not every bug wants to pose so lovely as this dragonfly.
I guess I'll have to buy the +1, +2 and +4 dioptry versions as well, to be able to keep more distance. Does anyone have experience with these?
