Old Delhi, a photo report
Delhi, the capital of India, consists of two parts. Old Delhi, build in the 17th century by the Mogul emperor Shah Jahan and New Delhi, build by the British.
Old Delhi is an interesting place with monuments, mosques, temples and lots of commerce.
It is extremely busy but walking down the narrow alleyways can also be surprisingly quite and relaxed.
I photographed people, workshops, markets and life on the streets. I hope you enjoy it.

This is the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Shah Jahan finished building the mosque in 1658. In the courtyard of the mosque there is room for 25.000 people.
There are some beautiful doors to be found in the small alleyways of Old Delhi.
