From 23 to 28 august 2011, the french montgolfières championship has taken place in the Paray Le Monial area. A great opportunity to make pictures of this event. Hereafter few of those I have taken.

@Bernadette: j'aurais bien fait un vol dans une des montgolfières, c'était possible bien que payant, mais quand j'ai voulu m'inscrire il n'y avait déjà plus de place disponible. Je me suis contenté de photographier les décollages.

Magnifique, vos photos me font revivre ces instants magiques lorsque le ballon quitte le sol, (puisque j'ai eu la chance d'être invitée à bord d'un de ces engins lors d'un festival en Val de Loire)

such a fantastic view, i know, this year they start weekly from a park in the center in our village, I had the opportunity to see the preparation of four of them, beautiful colors and much bigger as i imagine, made some nice pictures of this (1217549, 1217551, 1217552 and 1217553.
