Dear Woophyans
Now it is my turn to host the monthly challenge. I know a lot of you have hollidays or work very hard, but please take your time for some nice pictures. I have searched the original tekst of the first challenge and made just a few changes in it.
I am very gratefull to mr. Jonny Greentree, who started this challenge at Woophy after a time with lot of, not always pretty discussions. He left Woophy but something very nice stayed.
Right here it is: the 14 day challenge.
This monthtopic is the colour PURPLE
You now have 14 days to take a picture that shows your impression of Purple and upload it before the 14th of August at 23.59 woophy time.
And can you please add the title to the picture.
Here are the rules:-
1. The photo must be taken, processed and uploaded between 1 august 0.00 starttime and 14 august finish time (2012)
2. The challenge is started in the forum and the description states what the challenge is. You enter the challenge by uploading your picture to the forum thread.
3. Any picture uploaded posted after 23.59 h 14 august will be disqualified and pictures taken befor 1 august 0.00h also.
4. The person who hosts is the judge forthe challenge.
5. The winner gets to create, run, and judge the challenge the following month.
6. AND REMEMBER ITS FUN!!!!!!
And the results will follow 7 days after it has finished. (perhaps this month a bit later because I am not sure about internetconnections.
There will be 1st 2nd and 3rd place, the winner will host the following months challenge and you will get to host it, choose a topic and judge the challenge.
If you can not host the contest it will fall to the second place winner.

Let it start!
There is a book and a movie about the co;our purple, there are purple fields and it is a hard colour to catch in a picture. So I am very curious about your creations and please...remember.. have fun!

As purple is my favourite colour I just looked around in my garden and found plenty of opportunities like Hydrangae, Phloxes and this one a Clematis. Please enlarge!

Good idea, I'll try hard to find some suitable pics. I love this challenge!

I suppose that it's quite unusual to illustrate Purple with a B&W pic, but I assure you that each small pic has a direct relation with Purple.
