Yesterday Trudy and I went to the yearly Bulb-flower show at Breezand. They have each year an other topic to build around the show. This year it is Russia and the Hermitage of Leningrad. In Amsterdam is an annex of the Hermitage from Leningrad. They borrowed from them some object's for the flower show. Trudy an I will show you some impression's of this beautiful evenement and maybe there are other Woophy's who have been there either. Feel free to show your photo's too.

I am on the way with the ferry, a nice morning sun at the sea

The bulbshow is a yearly event, started as a show for cultivators to show what they managed.
the man with the notebook is a salesman, he writes down the names of the bulbs he wants to buy for his commerce.

Baboesjka from a different angel.Even ifyou watch carefully, you cannot see that this building normaly is a sportshall.
In the artcorner every detail was with bulbs in mind, even on the soldiers shoulders
there were very much different tulips, these I like very much
there was also a kind of yearmarket, espescially for the cultivators and there family. There even is a special thelephonprovider for them It is called Bollen(bulbs) bellen(ringing or talking on telephon)

The cultivators show their job:
very many different kinds of daffodils, some you would not recognize as a narcissus or daffodil at first sight
there are so many different tulips, this only are red ones.
