I knew I could count on you, Geert and Martin, and maybe Miguel and other beatlefreakfs will join us in this little corner.
I was in London a couple of weeks ago and there was this shitty rain every and each day. So, the pictures I took here are very bad, because I had no tripod and they all are out of focus, a real mess. But I had the opportunity of seeing that, in spite of the rain, there were always people coming and crossing the street and taking photographs like a mythic reunion. There was a group of four guys crossing the street, the last one playing George's role and he was an old man about 75 years old with a cane... that was terrific and exciting and I couldn't help to let some tears roll on my face.
The traffic sign was there on that point because the road behind was having some work and, as a coincidence, someone decided to put the sign right there at the Studios gate. It is not an outstanding picture, but I guess it has a special meaning, a cosmic meaning, eh eh.
About this crossroad, thank you Martin for your in-depth explanation. I couldn't expect less from someone who actually saw John Lennon in his bed-in the Amsterdam Hilton.
I could add some points about it. For example, Paul was photographed barefeet and with opposite steps with the other three in order to feed that rumour that he was dead. The Volkswagen on the left side of the picture is now in the Volkswagen Museum. The owner of the car had to buy several registrations of the automobile, because it was being robbed over and over again.
Geert is right: Abbey Road was their last album to be recorded, but Let it Be, although recorded previously, was their last album to be released. The second half of the Abbey Road, that long meddley produced by George Martin is a damn good piece of music and, in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.

Newsweek magazine edited a special commemorative spring 2012 issue about The Beatles.
Pages 66 and 67 show this drawing by Jim Stoten featuring a kind of Where's Waldo illustration of Beatles's songs. They say there are 34 songs. Can you find them?

Martin: you are probably right about that Sun question. So: it is Sun King. You considered the man offering a diamond ring to the girl as Can't Buy Me Love. But it can also be Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da. Those guys rolling over Beethoven are also part of Helter Skelter (when I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide, where I stop and I turn and then I go for a ride) That guy with a green suit: While My Guitar Gently Weeps
I also see Lady Madonna with children at her feet and wondering how she will manage to make ends meet. That guy with the money bag: I assumed it was the Taxman. But I think I was wrong: it is Baby, You're a Rich Man.
A Day in the Life: I'm not sure if there is any any reference to it. Can you help me, Martin?
And now, the complete list (so far): 1. The Fool on the Hill 2. Mr. Moonlight 3. Sun King 4. Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite 5. I Am the Walrus 6. Doctor Robert 7. Piggies 8. Old Brown Shoe 9. Rocky Raccoon 10. Everybody’s Got Something to Hide Except Me and my Monkey 11. Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band 12. Strawberry Fields Forever 13. And Your Bird Can Sing 14. Glass Onion 15. Octopus's Garden 16. Yellow Submarine 17. Roll over Beethoven 18. Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds 19. The Ballad of John & Yoko 20. All you Need is Love 21. Lovely Rita 22. Blackbird 23. The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill 24. Can't Buy me Love 25. Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da 26. Maxwell's Silver Hammer 27. Sexy Sadie 28. Hey Bulldog 29. A Day in the Life 30. Cry Baby Cry 31. Eleanor Rigby 32. Penny Lane 33. Her Majesty 34. Lady Madonna 35. Baby, You're a Rich Man 36. Helter Skelter 37. While My Guitar Gently Weeps 38. Dig a Pony

I think I was wrong about A Day...... My guess is it's Baby you're A Rich Man indeed.
About the ring, I see a diamond ring here.
The zoo and the "tower" with the Beatles gliding down still puzzels me.

About the ring: I also see a diamond ring. References to diamond rings appear both in Can't Buy Me Love and also in Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da (and as he gives it to her she begins to sing). So, I included both songs in the list.
The Zoo: it's Baby, You're a Rich Man Baby you're a rich man too. You keep all your money in a big brown bag inside a zoo.

It was 45 years ago today... on 1 June 1967.
The Beatles released Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, considered the best pop album ever, namely by the american magazine Rolling Stone, being number one of "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time".

I love this album, but maybe I prefer Abbey Road and Revolver, depending on the mood.
Their ghosts appeared inside Cool Britannia shop window, in Haymarket street, close to Picadilly Circus.
OK, i'm finishing now: not the best quality, but I like that George.

A restaurant in Santiago de Cuba ( Cuba) was so proud having had Paul Mc Cartney as a guest He seemed to have stopped for there for a few hours and came in his private Jet. A great way of going for dinner . They saved everything he used and placed it on the wall in a frame behind glass. Also his chair got a plaque with the note he wrote in bronze. Unfortunately I could not use this chair . Oh, and yes the food was great, but not so veggie
