Next year, on april the 10th, it's 40 years ago The Beatles split up. Please show in this topic your photo's that remind us of the Fab Four. Wall-paintings, streetsigns, places that have played a roll in the life of the four members or the group... Or upload a photo that represent a Beatles-song. I know there are some Woophians who are great fans. So, come on, Martin, Abílio and others!

Excellent topic Geert. I have some ideas but I must search my old slides and scan them, a good opportunity for a "journey through the past" ...sorry that one is from Neil Young...

Thanks, I love Neil Young. There is also that one recorded in 1971, with something close to the version in the great record "Massey Hall" in 71 too. URL

Geert: I am honoured. But I left the music world a long time ago.
Now I am in a cinema mood and the Festival de Cannes is the place where you can find me.
Check here.
La Rafale: I didn't see you there...

Free as a Bird
"Free as a Bird" is a song, single and video released by The Beatles in December 1995 as part of their "reunion" and promotion around the release of the video documentary Anthology and their Anthology 1 compilation album. Song was originally a piece of music that John Lennon composed, but never completed. The original Lennon recording was made circa 1977 in New York City. Yoko Ono gave a basic recording of the unfinished music to the remaining Beatles (Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr) who reunited to finalise and record the completed song.
