Pic taken during the St Anthony Summer fayre. St Anthony is an English-speaking Roman Catholic parish in Kraainem (in the suburbs of Brussels). Every year, they organize a Fayre (no spelling error), with food, drinks, flea market, music, games for children, ... More info on their website.
Here, one of the games: wet sponges are thrown at children.
P.S. I am very sorry, but I had to delete a previous submission in order to make room for this one.

This is a traditional event in many countries in Europe, but we don't see in Portugal: one man holding a baby in his arms AND carrying the baby-car AND two women with their bikes AND all inside a train.
This picture was made two days ago, last saturday, travelling by train, from Helsingør to Copenhagen, in Denmark.

The DSB (Danish Railwail Lines) band playing in the streets of Helsingør, Denmark. Here we see an old lady (a granny) playing her tuba. Probably, in Portugal, she would be attending in a hospital emergency room because of her bronchitis.

In Denmark, there is a strange tradition: when it rains, people gather inside theater halls paying tribute to Odin, God of Wisdom. It is a kind of celebration, a mystical encounter whose origins lie in the depths of Time.

Those naked photos must be seen very, very carefully, Mac!
Have you got a good magnifier ( lupa) ???
Good luck to the competitors. I haven't joined in for lack of time...

I used a magnifier, statistics, advices and my sensibility.
Now, I have 8 of the 48, to decide...
I will print them and sleep on it...
Tomorrow I will take my breakfast with them, and maybe I'll take them to the beach in a boat trip...
See you tomorrow

Good morning everybody
I have taken my breakfeast and I'm in position to reveal my opinion about the photos of June Challenge.
The theme was "Tradicional Events". In this, a lot of events could be envolved.
So, after the great work we can see in the photos presented, I think that all of you win the first prize. However it will not be easy for you to organize the next challenge...
So...
The photo who represents the third place is

from Teresa Tmar. A lot of work and a dangerous one to take this picture. This is a kind of job we don't give value when we eat those goose barnacle ...
The photo who represents the second place is

from Ruden Fretsbo. You catch a look of someone who belives in what he defends. We have a great problem and must of us don't care about it. Our environment is loosing quality and I don't know what will happens with our grand sons.
Finnaly the photo in the first place.

From Akbar Simonse. Congratulations, you catch the joy and fun of gipsy dancing. The girls are happy, we can see that in her faces. You had made a great job and you deserve to organize the next challenge.
Congratulations to all.
Now, I'll wait for the next and of course I want to participate too...
