are you trying to influence the jury?
this is a capital offence!!!!!!
yes its a hard choice amongst all the nice entries
today I have eliminated all the obvious NO s, still not easy, but one must start some where
i am left with about 20 photos which I have copied to a separate file where I can view them without any reference to the poster.... in any case I will not be influenced by friendship , i wwill judge according to the merits of the pictures only
tomorrow and monday I will review them again and hope to reach a decision by tuesday

what a responsability you have given me
i am left with 8 superb photographs of which I must choose only 3
i will not sleep tonight.....
anyway tomorrow my decision will be made, some will be dissapointed but thats the way it is
Hint to the moderators, for such choices 3 people minimum are necessary!
Buenas noche

Take your time, Kolibri. You're right, you'd need some aid to choose the best. Don't worry, nobody's in a hurry. We can wait and we WON'T be disappointed. The theme was amazing.
Cheers

Good day everybody
You have all made a tremendous effort and posted superb photos! It has not been easy to choose just three pics from all these postings, and I have been kept awake some nights by this responsibility and i hope that those whe have not been selected have no hard feelings
so here we go for number three
I like the opposed diagonals: the rope in one way and the grain of the wood in the other, nice contrasting colours
well done Laura

and now in my humble opinion the winner is Mac Leitao from Portugal
you obviously put a lot of effort in composing this picture and I love the effect

but I still prefer your second entry, superb colours and light, nicely composed a typical example of ABSTRACT, this one is the winner !
Thanks again all participating Woophyians for your efforts
So Mac Leitao ( sorry I dont know your first name)is this months winner and I give you the honour ? of choosing the next challenge and judging the winner
Good luck my friend !!!!

Well done Kolibri ( Jan),
When I saw the topic I didn't even hesitate: that's what I like. These photos have been an inspiration for painting too. The second one by Paolo is actually the one I like the most as a source for painting. All the others are great and it must have been difficult to choose. Thank you so much.
And now, let's move on.This challenge cannot stop

uuups...
...well, what can I say?
I hope you had made the best choice. Many thanks Jan for this distinction. All the photos in the chalenge were great.
I'm glad, of course I'm glad.
And of course I accept the hard work for next month, and I will try to do, at least, a shadow of your job in this chalenge.
More important than the inumerous photos that everybody uploads every day, I think it's these forum, chalenge, unnoficial contest ... the better way to improove. Here, we don't have down ratings, or beautiful 5 with a rate of 2 or no rate at all.
So... I'm glad.
Next chalenge? Ok. It will not be easy, but as we can see, there's a lot of good photographers here in Woophy, with great photos so... It's a chalenge.
Congratulations to Paolo and Laura, whose pic's I admire, and also to all participants.
Once more, thanks Jan
To you and to all woophyan people, will meet next "Jun 15 day's Chalenge"
Best Regards
Manuel Leitão
