@Pam : i already noticed your human pairs, so tender but not your animals pairs so funny ; good selection 
@Aida : two serene pairs ( boats and Miguel in Leonor'arms) ; intrudings in the others are sometimes really cute and pretty with the dog or the peacock but .... oh! the cellular  a great combination you made !
@ Walter : various and colourful pairs (and sometimes double pairs with your famous collage ) from Brazil !
@Scoonie : these ships are surely Lords of Scotland ! they really made me laugh

I forgot to contribute, Brigitte  , and here are, at last, a few of mine:
This is an old one, taken in Karpathos; the girl is our daughter.
Even older, and still with our daughter (twice on the pic, if you accept the shadow as part of a pair).

A pair of brabanders, belgian breed of horses
at The Grote Markt in Antwerp, they pull a carraige for tourists in the old part of the city
