Sometimes the best portraits are made then we see the intense and enduring expression of the eyes.

I agree Joris, this is a very fine portrait, I looked a larger view and the highlights on the eyes are wonderful, I also like the sutle facial expression (remotely reminds me of Mona Lisa)
