Friends,
What a day for birthdays it is, 19 June!
So many of our friends and some of our most active, engaged, & constructive contributors who all took their first breths in this world on this same day that I think it merits a forum topic on its own.
This is the most appropriate tribute I could come up with quickly, as I'm so busy today.
However, to A. Miguel Oliveira, Ana Afonso & Jan Hemels in particular, not to forget other members, let me be the first to wish you a great birthday, good health, peace and harmony through all the year ahead and naturally, continued excellent photo opportunities to share with all of us.
And especially for the 3 Portuguese birthdays - Miguel, Ana & ATRAE - may the selecção nacional bring you the present you all want at the end of today, a victory against Germany!!

Thanks, Stew., for giving me this public opportunity to wish Ana, Miguel and Jan, three great photographers and, more importantly, fine and inspirational human beings, all the best today . As two are Portugese ( sorry, Jan ! ), I send them a bunch of flowers from Madeira, one of my favourite places -
