I participated in a contest about self portraits recently so I may this is also a good Id for a thread , be creative with self portraits 
this one is made with a copy machine, a some years ago :

When I made this portrait, I wanted to catch the fountain, the perspective and the blue sky, but my own reflection was not here on purpose.

Normally, I don't look like that (only when I am very unhappy, or scared). I made it for the Forum (14-days competition, by Rising Phoenix). It is a real self-portrait: I held the camera at arm length, in front of me, in wide angle position.
And the image was processed through some filter (can't remember which one).
