It’s new and we’re very happy with it. We’ll use it for our news and for links to topics like this and to the contests themselves. We hope many new members will discover the Unofficial Contest through its newsletter blog. You’ve provided us with a clear-cut winner of the February 2008 contest. We collected 177 valid votes. With 30 votes, the title Most Beautiful Picture goes to photo 487661 by Aline. It is a splendid picture, Aline, well done. You collected more than twice the votes of your nearest competitors. We welcome Aline to our Hall of Fame and we’ll recommend her for a winner’s icon. The winning picture, by Aline (30 votes) Aline may have won by a large margin, but that doesn’t mean that the other pictures were bad at all. (P.S.: I just wanted to apologize for not having voted this month, for the first time, as I had been very busy with school work and had decided to do it today, but always having the old date in my mind as the final date: the 21st!!! So, I was watching the replay of Spurs-Chelsea (4-4, and what a game!!!) and intended to do it just... now! And I saw, with a big surprise, it was over! And so tired I must be, that I thought it was a mistake, for a while! Then, I woke up to... the real 19th! Sorry for that! Anyway, as I had no reason to hide my voting, and though it doesn't count, my votes (and difficult to choose only 3!) were going to: 498972, 487661, 485809. Sorry, again, and suggest to Oscar and Ruud~ to extend it to the 21st next time again!

Adding pictures up to a sertain date, then using the next week or two to vote. In that way, all of the pictures have an equal chance. Just a suggestion.
