Aline, it is very original your idea and I liked it a lot, for these lands there is a group that is devoted for some time to collect pictures of those unusual posters, if you want to see it it is in:

Thank you all for your contributions. Streets signs can say something else than what they have to.
@Akbar : Thanks you for the Monyx'picture. This amount of signs is a good symbol of the overflow of symbols and information of our towns ! Information kills information.

On the right side of the pic is a poster with a portrait of the pope. He waves with his right hand: traffic from the right is allowed to go. :)

Hihi, yes, yes !! I didn't noticed him. But I would say : Traffic from the right side (of his hand) is forbidden. Isn"t the meaning of stand-up hand ? and he's more ready to forbid than to allow... ;-) ... (with all the respect I could have for him)

Another street sign. This one is just around the corner at my job and I never notice it before. There is a restaurant there with its terrace at the other side of the street.
TAKE CARE: CROSSING WATERS

......and offcourse WATERS must be: WAITERS.
A sign warning me to take care of correct spelling should be great.

Today I found a new streetsign. Quite a strange one for a "free" country.
Fortunately it's there fot only 2 days during the opening of the new parliamentary year by queen B.

@Akbar : I'm sorry, I missed your message on September 15th.. and to be honest, if I didn't understood you make a type mistake with "waters", I couldn't correct because I didn't know the word "waiters" neither. But, ok, anyway, everybody understood the meaning !
Today, I found 2 strange or funny street signs...
Thanks to Mark Sheffield

Actually a sculpture in the middle of a traffic circle in London. When we first saw it, it was quite confusing until we realized what it was.
