The pilot strike, will not effect the Woophy meeting, I think
Its from April 9th till July 20th the strike will take place
Sorce: Belga
With the Spanish airline Iberia pilots go on strike every Monday and Friday from 9 april to 20 July.
That their Trade Union has published Tuesday.
The pilots are protesting against the arrival of the low cost airline Iberia Express.

This is an Iberia pilots strike, the strike on Thursday is a national strike.
According to the list of cancelled Iberia flights, the only cancelled flight from Amsterdam to Madrid is:
IB 3249 ÁMSTERDAM MADRID 29‐mar‐12 19:10, so far....
I hope nobody booked this flight.

Daniel and I wish you a wonderful WE, and we are sure you will have great time.
So sorry not be be with you, but it's impossible for a lot of reasons... life is like that... Next time I hope.
Even if I was not very present on Woophy during the last weeks, I don't forget you all.

i've just got very bad news from my travel agency : due to the general strike in spain, all flights of sn brussels airlines to madrid were canceled for tomorrow , march 29th ,and i they can't offer me any reservation before sunday .so, pity enough, i can't attend the woophy meeting ! more luck next time

I contacted KLM and the flight I booked is not yet canceled, but they were not sure I can fligh.
If it doesnot work, I don't know if I am able to come, first opportunitay would be saturday.
I think it is a pitty for Camille, and keep your fingers crossed for the others who should fly on thirsday. Hope so they can make it.

I sincerely hope all the transport problems can be solved & once in Madrid, I am certain you guys & ladies are going to have a FUN time & in the good hands of hosts DOLO, Zoidberg, etc.
