Two of my shark pictures have been published in this calendar. "Stamping out the soup" URL

I was contacted by Idivesharks URL to see if they could use my images, and of course I said yes!!!
I also have been privileged to have been chosen to open the year. I'm in January!
Most of you probably know I have been involved in this kind of projects for a while.
It is estimated some 100,000,000 sharks are brutally slaughtered annually to service the increasing demand for shark fin soup. We are donating ALL proceeds of this product to a shark awareness program for 2010. For every $100 raised we will be able to buy advertising billboards throughout the city of Beijing in China, on which will be placed information to educate the general public into the plight faced by sharks.
These boards will be endorsed by Yao Ming, professional basketball player with the Houston Rockets, who is one of China’s most influential, and followed personalities.
Sharks are slow to mature and have few offspring. If they are to survive, some species populations are down an incredible 90% over the past two decades, then we have to act now.
This calender may not be the most economic of options but with every profit penny going to this cause we can only hope that you see fit to align yourselves with a project that will have long term effects if not just for us but also, and more importantly, for our children.
Every penny you spend today will help some sharks see another tomorrow.
Thank you,
Igone
