M0m0, I do not believe that your trip is stupid, your project sounds great, since it is not the same thing to travel from one place to other one in plane, if you take your car and to be in touch with the territory, to stop or to seek for agreeable places and to hope that the interesting things happen and to do photos to them; I did a similar trip from Ciudad Juárez, Cihuahua, Mexico up to Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, in car, 8,225 kilometres going and return, and I remember it as a spectacular trip.
