I am leaving for China in one week. I plan on staying there through Chinese New Year and then going to Taiwan for 10 days. Anyone know of any spots in particular I should check out. I will be in Fuzhou, China. Any tips?

hi david,
first of all welcome to woophy :-) Unfortunately I cannot give you hints on China. Just as an idea if you do not get replies here: Search for China pictures and click on the ones you like. There you have the option to contact the person who took the pic directly (via email).

David, it's problaby a little late now, but for anyone else reading this forum and thinking of visiting Taiwan - it's a beautiful place. I've been living here off and on for two years. The places I recomend are Taroko Gorge, Su-au coastline, Ali-Shan and Kenting. Basically if you can get out of the cities and up to the mountains, or over to the East Coast, it's a beautiful country and earns its original title of "Formosa" . Cities are nice too particularily Taipei and Tainan. I've posted quite a few pictures on my web site section devoted to taiwan photos and pictures .
