A photographers worst nightmare is he goes to a beautiful place, take pictures, and then discover all your pictures were ruined. That happened to me. Thankfully, I was able to salvage some through some photoshopping.
Seattle:The gateway to Washington state. Flew into SEATAC and enjoyed the city.
Sequim:After taking a ferry and some driving, I arrived in a small town of Sequim. The community is mostly made of retirees who love the mountain life, so it's a very friendly town. There's also a shore nearby which has the Three Crabs Restaurant with some good seafood.
Port Angeles: Home to Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic National Park. This place has breathtaking views and very friendly wildlife due to tourists feeding them. I wish they wouldn't feed the wildlife because it can cause long term safety problems such as animals getting agressive for the food, but it allows for easy close up shots. Also Crescent Lake is a popular resort for tourists to go camping. There's also a very nice restaurant with a great view.

Leavenworth: Time to go out east into the Cascades. However I went on the eastern side of the Cascades. Due to the rainshadow, the west side of the mountains are extreamly lush, moist, and very green; the east side is dry. The area is prone to forest fires, so you'll see burnt trees a lot. But the views are terrific.
The town of Leavenworth is a tourist attraction. They modeled the town into a Bavarian village; in my opinion, they overdid it. I prefer the wilderness.
