Hello again Woophy community!
I have another technical question... SInce last time, your answers were useful, I thought I'd come and bother you again ;-)
My question is how do you do to create a black/white and colour contrast in the same picture??
There's an example I found. A pic from Dutchy which I really like:
Thank you in advance for your replies!

Hi Abia, you can do this very easy in any photoprogram. For instance I use photoshop. The workflow is like this:
Make a copy of your picture
Turn one picture in black and white
Put the black and whit version in a layer on the color version
Use the eraser tool to erase the black and white where you want color.
If your happy with the result, flatten the layers and you have your selective color
image. That s the way I do it, probaly there are more methodes but I find this very easy this way. Succes, Carla

What would be good is a separate category for photos that have been aggressively enhanced with a photo editor...some are very good and done with a lot of skill, skill which I envy.

Thank you Carla for that tip. I'll try to fiddle with Photoshop to get that effect. The thing is this software is so complex to use (for a newbie like me!!!). I'm really starting to be an addict to this site... There are so many amazing pictures!!!

Yes, Photoshop is complex but when you know your way you dont want anything else. If something is not clear, just ask and I ll try to explain.

I agree, PhotoShop is very complex, but has a lot - or maybe better too much - possibilities.
How to learn easy things? Search on the internet for "tutorials + PhotoShop" and you find many websites with tips and explanations. If you want them in your own language search with an extra +nl (for Dutch) or +es (for Spanish) or whatever your countryname is in internet.
