Have you ever tried TinEye?
If you like to find out if your pictures are used elsewhere on the web, or if you try to find out where an image came from,if a higher resolution version or an edited version exists, give it a try:
http://www.tineye.com/faq
I recommend the browser plugins. Just a right click on an existing image to find out.
