IMO the second picture, the taillight on the first picture is only halfway and needs to be removed (Or maybe shown in full) The rear window is also disturbing the motive. the second picture is as "clean" as it gets (I think), and it does also have a clearer image.
IMO of course.

You see, in pics of this kind the viewer should be able to understand immediately "what" he is seeing - in this case, a windmill reflected in an old car's cowling. In pic no. 2, you see well the reflection, but it is not clear what the reflecting surface belongs to. That's why I prefer no.1. The red light is not problem for me - it tells we are seeing a car, and that's ok. And it is very good for the composition too. I agree with Vidar about the rear window: it is actually disturbing. Not the window in itself, but the objectso behind it. You should edit the picture in order to blur those objects, without loosing the striped motif of the glass. Very tricky...

For the reasons that Vidar S pointed out, and also those from TBM, though it seems on a different way, I'd prefer the 1st if... erased (not cropped) at the top the red object! Only that and it would be fine for me!

I also agree with Miguel, like the compo of the first one more. The second is a little bit light in the right of the picture.

I prefer number 1, the second to me seems a bit confusing and distorted. In number 1 the clouds are nice as well as the fact you can tell that the reflection is on a car.

Both have some distracting elements. The red light in the first one and the white part in the second. Nevertheless I prefer the second. Same reasoning as Vidar.

I I… in my simple understanding as amateur taste more than the first photo. In the second a image she is very obvious and the light excess erased the details that make with that the photo leaves of being interesting! It knows when something leaves a mystery in air? The photo has that to instigate the observer to discover details that are not well clear… Congratulations in the same way, the photo are pretty!

Hi Corneel,
I have not any doubts that for me the best is the first one. The second has too much problems IMO: the cropping does not suit to the subject, it's overexposed on the right side and specially the windmill is blured... and this is the worst because is the main subject of the picture.
On the other hand, the first one is IMO a very good picture that has only a minor problem. the windmill is slightly underexposed... The rest for me is ok, even the red light and the window... If I were you I would "paint" the windmill with the overexposition tool in photoshop, with a very blured brush, only to increase the highlights... The result could be very good and it's easy to do.
Hugs!

Ruden,
I´m not a big photo shop user, I tend to forget the trick (that´s why I try to save them somewhere). Do you mean the shadow/highlights menu option? That´s what I could find ....
Maybe you (us) can enlight me with some more hints..
thx,
Corneel

Hi Corneel!
I don't meant that... I'm talking about a tool that you can find in the left menu... the icon looks like a hand for underexposition and like a kind of magnifiying glass for the overexposition... Indeed difficult to explain it in english (( Maybe someone else could help?
